That bulky soaker tub in their primary bathroom had to go! Freestanding tubs are still high on many bathroom remodel wish lists, but requests to remove tubs altogether have been growing in popularity over the last few years.
NC Home Remodeling started by eliminating a tub the homeowners never used, and reclaiming that space for an enlarged shower. Changing the shower entry to the previous tub location keeps the walkway open and provides easier access to the shower. With the shower head being out of reach from the entry, the new shower valve is positioned for easy access. LVP flooring replaces the tile floors providing a warm look while being extremely durable.
Handheld showers are almost always added in our bathroom remodels. They offer flexibility, particularly when they are on slide bars, taking the place of fixed body sprayers. They are also great for cleaning your shower. Remember having to fill a cup of water to rinse shower walls? We particularly love the accent tile selected for the niche with subtle green hues!
The new vanity has a quartz countertop, rectangular undermount sinks, and updated modern fixtures. We love the updated mirrors and vanity lights. Matte black fixtures and accents serve as a focal point, adding visual interest and depth.
The Team at NC Home Remodeling specialize in interior remodeling (whether you’re eliminating a tub, or adding a freestanding soaking tub). As bathroom and kitchen remodels remain the highest return on investment, these homeowners can rest assured that the right decision was made to increase the value of their home.
