This Raleigh, NC homeowner wanted a total master bathroom update. Creating the bright, upscale look they were looking for began with removing the enclosed shower, installing a new freestanding slipper tub, changing out the linen closet with a larger updated linen pantry, and installing a tiled herringbone floor. The updated color palette is transitional in style, and flows nicely with the overall home decor style.
NC Home Remodeling planned this master bathroom remodel design by navigating the homeowner complaints with the space and incorporating an updated color palette. The planning phase of our projects range from two weeks to a year, depending on the scope of the project, and it is a very important step to nail down before project start.
The vanity is replaced with a style that matches the cabinets in the rest of the home. Updated with soft close doors and drawers and a light countertop, the new vanity is bright and appealing. The Delta Cassidy low-arc faucet is also a favorite for bathrooms seeking a transitional style.
The enclosed shower was a pain point, as well as the linen closet that did not offer the homeowners much usable space. Both pain points were easily remedied in this master bathroom update.
The freestanding slipper tub replaces the home’s original jetted tub. The hand laid herringbone tiled floor complements the space so well and stays within the home’s traditional style. We also love the larger format tile used on the floor in this application!
