NC Water Heater was able to provide same day installation when our water heater failed. The install was a 30 gallon lowboy under an air handler, so there was not much room for error or plumbing flexibility. Ryan and Nate did a wonderful job at a very competitive price. We came home to water streaming out our garage door on a Sunday afternoon. After identifying it was our water heater, I called this company and received a call back in 10 minutes. After a quick discussion over the phone and me sending photos, the owner provided me an estimate to come replace the water heater that day. True to their word, they arrived less than 2 hours later and went to work. The two employees were friendly and knowledgeable and cleaned up after themselves. Cannot recommend this company enough.

Excellent Service! Called on a Friday morning after our water heater went down. The person I spoke with was very personable and gathered all pertinent information needed to provide a quote and get things moving. They sent a straightforward proposal in less than 10 minutes- simple to read, understand and accept- which I did. They immediately responded and communicated next steps, guiding me along the way. An hour and a half later, they arrived and with a new water heater and installed it with utmost professionalism. They communicated with me consistently throughout the process, but not overbearing or intrusive. The service techs were excellent- adapting to a couple challenges my home presented with a smile, care and knowledgeable expertise. I have already scheduled them to do more work for me next week after I mentioned a different need to their service tech, who was very helpful. These folks are pros and make it easy for their customers.

Back in November, we were experiencing a problem with our hot water heater. I had done some diagnosing and looked at a few things, but came to a standstill. My in-laws had recently used NC Waterheaters to do some work on their house and said how awesome the entire process was. I figured I'd give them a try. I emailed in to get an appointment set up. Jason came by the house and went right to work. We found that the gas regulator was faulty. He gave me a quote to replace that, to add piping to get more length, and also to replace the unit. We just replaced the regulator and everything has been good since! I just really appreciate how knowledgeable everyone is and how nobody tried to push me in one direction or another. He even noted the account saying we replaced the regulator and to not quote/replace that if we replace the water heater down the road.

Overall, NC Waterheaters is a great company and they will be the first I call next time I have another problem!

The absolute best experience I've had with anything house related. From the first call I felt taken care of, and that's definitely what you get for going with your local mom and pop experts.

A single water heater replacement very happily turned into addressing all the major fixes that had been building up with our house! And it wasn't a hard sell by them either, just the friendly, welcoming initial phone call that led to discovering the depth of this company. They care. They cared to send an initial estimate out for free, and a again for a second when we added electrical, and then again when one of the proprietors decided to come out himself just to get the scope of everything and see how we could bundle the work. And every step of the way, the dispatch team was taking every phone call, responding to every email, and making sure all my questions had satisfying answers. In the end we happily sent them homemade baked goods with our check because they just felt like that kind of company. They were neighbours invested in our happiness, it felt like the natural way to say thank you!

As for what this multi trade company actually delivered for us...first they got a new water heater up into the attic when a nationwide company wasn't sure it would fit.

And then they replaced laundry room flooring, missing hallway carpet pads, redid suspect electrical and lighting fixtures, and repaired our water stained and drooping ceiling!

They did it for less than the Big Big Boys asked for it, and they did a better job too. What they didn't handle in house they coordinated themselves so that I only had to talk to one fantastic dispatch office to get everything taken care of.

...and since they do remodeling too, we'll definitely be looking their way first when it's time to upgrade the kitchen or bath!

Spoke wuth Dave, Great Personality, he was able to schedule Jordan Hicks and Brandon Johnson to service Us same day to Replace my 21 year old water heater. BOTH Jordan and Brandon were Happy Easy Going and very Polite the entire time. Both worked Professionally, Efficiently, ( it was cold outside, they're in the garage ), Worked with Great safety in mind and Very Detailed Oriented. Jonathan Blackmon is a very skilled plumber! When I showed him the 6 different issues we were having, the feedback he gave made us feel like he fully understood what he wanted, and we knew he was capable of doing it correctly. We were very undecided about replacing an aging garbage disposal or converting it to a standard drain. The knowledge and level of detail he had regarding both options allowed us to clearly see that removing the disposal was the right choice for us.

We have been using NCWaterHeaters for many years, and they are very price competitive and professional to deal with, but this was our first larger project using them. We cannot recommend them highly enough, and especially Jonathan!

Jason was professional, very communicative, and knew exactly what to do. I had multiple estimates done from different companies because the first person to inspect the water heater provided wrong information, stated that they would be leaving holes in my wall (for me to resolve), and an electrician would be needed. Then Jason from NCWaterHeaters did an inspection, provided me with the next steps, an estimate, and was able to schedule an appointment within two days! It’s difficult to find a contractor, electrician, carpenter, etc., that you can trust and one that will do the job professionally at a reasonable price . Look no further, these guys are legit!

Hired to install a ceiling fan along with running wire and installing a box that could handle the weight. Initially, I was considering running conduit versus going through the extra work of removing ceiling boards and finish trim. (Covered porch area). Leigh, the electrician, recommended pulling one panel down and running the wiring inside. Of course, this was the right way to go, much better aesthetically; a professional finish. Along with Jim and Jeremy, the NC WatetHeaters crew had it installed in no time. Better yet, they are a “start to finish” company; electrical, drywall and painting, in my case. Finished product looked like it came with the house.

I had a recommendation to have Jim change out my electrical panel, and I am glad I took that advice. He was very prompt and professional in answering my questions during the evaluation and prior to the change out day. On the day of the work, Jim let me know when he was going to arrive and what to expect. Lee joined Jim for the change out to make sure the job was completed in one day, so we would have power back on later that afternoon. They both worked diligently and did an outstanding job. We had Jim and Lee out to replace our outdated and severely corroded 1950s electrical service with a brand new 400 amp service. They completed the work quickly and perfectly accommodated our requests for how we desired the new electrical install to come about. We could not be happier with the result.

It was very clear during the initial estimate we received from Jim that he is a highly experienced and skilled electrician, and him and Lee both proved it even more by swiftly and flawlessly completing a job that would have proved very difficult for an unqualified electrician.

Both are honest guys who take pride in their work and who treated us and our home with utmost respect. They handled all the permitting and inspections and even disposed of all the old electrical boxes/equipment so we didn’t have to deal with any of that. Perfect example of good service done right that made the entire process so easy for us!

They are the quickest to respond plumbing company I've ever used. Over the past 9 years we have had them to detect and repair leaks, install kitchen and bathroom faucets and new toilets all at our rental home and at our own home in 2016 they rescued us from what could've been catastrophic damage. A major water line was ruptured by a handy man digging up a tree trunk. At 8pm no extra charge for the emergency and got the sand that flowed into all our pipes out and got us water that night in the dark using flashlights outside! They had a bobcat out there the next morning pulling the rest of the enormous tree trunk out. All for a very reasonable price. Last year they replaced our hot water heater and recently repaired a toilet. As we've gotten older we appreciate the way they just take over. It's a seamless process from start to finish. And they give a military discount. Thanks Dave!

A few days ago Michael Oropeza, an electrician from NC Home Electric, came by to install a level 2 EV charger for my Ford Lightning. He did an outstanding job. He arrived within 5 minutes of his scheduled time, took the time to explain the installation process and answered all my questions on the specifics on how the charger would work with the pickup. He did a very professional installation, cleaned up the work area, ran a test of the charger and made sure it worked properly. He is a top notch electrician. The entire company seems really professional. I called because of a leaky disposal, and was able to get a quick appointment, on Good Friday, which was great. The plumbing technician, Steven, was extremely prompt, professional, communicative, and speedy. He explained my options clearly, and taught me how to better maintain the new disposal. He was even really great with my normally wild dog (who was so calm with Steven I was actually concerned for a minute, but apparently he’s just great with dogs LOL). On top of all that, he showed me how to increase my water pressure in that sink, which was SUCH a life improvement. Both plumbing technicians, Steven Cravey and Greg Degenhardt, have provided excellent service on April 7, 2025 in replacing a leaky 40-gallon electric water heater under warranty with a brand new one. Steven first came to diagnose, correctly, the underlying problem and provided a clear remedy with a detailed list of cost items (expansion tank, valves, fittings, pipe) not covered by the warranty. Both Steven and Greg arrived punctually on the appointed time to remove the faulty water heater and install the new replacement. Their work was top notch and very professional. They answered my questions knowledgeably and cleaned up the debris afterward.

Asked for a quote on Saturday and they had me a quote the same day with availability to replace it on Monday afternoon. From the moment I reached out for help, it only took three days to get it replaced!! Awesome!

And the technician, Jason, well he was awesome. He explained why the old one died (although it was obvious in the picture) and really spent the time to explain what he was doing while installing the new unit.

Just an all around great experience. I would definitely recommend NCWaterHeaters to everyone.

Brandon was so knowledgeable and professional! He was able to thoroughly assess the needed repairs, and gave me and my clients great advice on how to move forward. Extremely pleasant office staff. Scheduling apt arrival time and then follow up on exact time of arrival was perfect. Stephen was extremely thorough in explaining various unit options and also why certain changes needed to be made because of problems with previous installation of tank less water heater. AND...$3,000 LESS than another quote which did not include corrections! Did you know sometimes person giving a quote is working on commission...probably reason for $3,000 difference.

Jason with NC WaterHeaters replaced the water main for my home in Raleigh. What I appreciated most was that he treated me, my home, my property, my landscaping - even my dogs! with care and respect every time he was here. He took time to answer all my questions, to explain the details of the procedure, to walk my extensive landscape so I could see what needed to be moved and where the trench for the new pipe would go. He was available via phone and email and was always prompt in responding to any inquiry. He took photos to document the need for the work and 'before and after' as well. Jason and Ryan came to dig the trench and redo some of the plumbing - and both were respectful, kind to the dogs - and willing to answer any questions. They completed the work in the time they told me to expect, so I was without water for only a few hours. They made sure I knew all the changes and provided an easier way for me to replace my water filter by adding another shut off valve.

When the inspection passed, Jason came back and filled in the trench - and even took time to spread out some mulch I had purchased. He left my property looking like he had cared for his own.

I could not have been more pleased with the work done by Jason and NC WaterHeaters. I highly recommend this company.

I recently had a hybrid water heater installed by NC Water Heaters, and their team, consisting of Jason, Luis, Jimmy, and Brandon, who did an outstanding job. They removed my old system from the crawl space and installed the new hybrid system in the garage (pictured), leaving everything immaculate, well-organized, and taken care of.

Jason was especially helpful, staying behind for a good chunk of time to explain everything I needed to know about the new system and patiently answering all my questions. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and thoroughness was appreciated. Jason taking the time to talk me through everything was especially as I am a new home owner who just wants to do everything right.

I had a 18 year old water heater that was slowly rusting away. Decided to get it replaced before it got too bad.

NCWaterHeaters had the best price (called 4-5 different places) in the area and was very prompt in sending over a detailed estimate after a short phone call. The team came out the next day and installed my unit within 1.5 hours.

Can’t say enough great things about NCwaterheaters. From Dave, the owner, who was first to come out and provide a quote personally; spending hours on several visits to discuss various projects. He’s honest, non-pushy, helpful and even recommended another company over himself, that could do something for a better price. Jeremey the carpenter in their home services division is attentive and helpful, and Kayla (admin) is always prompt with quotes and a pleasure scheduling work with. I’ve had them install a new 50-gal water heater, and do various projects (other divisions) and they’ve been a one-stop-shop for me. The stress is eliminated when working with this team! Quick service on a Saturday morning! Woke up with a broken hot water tank (and learning a lesson of don't store your hockey gear in front of the hot water tank). They were here in less than 2 hours and fixed it before the hockey gear could dry out! I am extremely impressed with this company. When I needed a new water heater, I contacted at least 7 different plumbers in the area, trying to find someone who performed quality work at a reasonable price. I was informed by a few companies that, due to the location of my water heater (long story), I would need extra construction services, I’d have to downsize my tank, etc. I was ready to accept the whole process was going to be a nightmare and cost a ridiculous amount of money. The professionals at NC Water Heaters were able to get the job done right without excess construction, no downsizing, and at an awesome price.

Most importantly, on the day of service, they had the opportunity to “up-charge” me on an issue that I was clueless about. Instead, they were immediately upfront, honest, and even helped me save money. They were actually looking out for me instead of trying to get an extra dollar.

It’s so valuable in a larger area to find a company and people you can trust. From now on, they are my go-to and I will be recommending them to everyone.

We just moved to the Triangle and purchased a whole home catalytic carbon water filter and water softener for our new construction home. We were in need of a qualified plumber to install the system. On the first connection with the company, the president, David, called me to discuss the job. He spent a lot of time discussing the job, telling me about the company and listening to my needs. We received a very competitive estimate shortly after that. Other plumbers wanted two to three times more to perform the work. Kayla, the office manager, promptly sent a firm quote and got us on the schedule. Kayla was very responsive coordinating the work and a great representative of the company. NC Water Heaters sent out Jason, the water softener expert, to install my equipment. Jason was on time, knowledgeable and courteous. He did a great job. This was not their equipment and I appreciate their taking the time to install the equipment that I had purchased.

Rarely do you find a small business, especially a home improvement contractor, that runs as efficiently and effectively as NC Water Heaters. I will definitely consider them my new plumber and recommend them to everyone in the Triangle.

We noticed mold on our wall in our family room. We had no idea why or where the leak was coming from. The tech came out (don't remember his name) and he identified a leak in the copper pipe coming from the water heater in the garage which shares the same wall as that of the family room. He replaced the copper pipe with such ease and didn't charge us an astronomical fee which has typically been our experience with most plumbers. He was very considerate and professional. The experience was so positive we even had NCWaterHeaters come back out to replace the drywall that was rotted as a result of the leak. If you want quality work completed, we highly recommend this company. We're using them again on another project!
