Even though the bathroom has limited space, there were still viable options to increase storage. A new larger vanity with a full set of drawers and offset sink provides plenty of storage space to keep items off of the countertop.
Solving countertop storage was not quite enough. There is no linen closet in this guest bathroom, causing the homeowner to use over-the-door hanging racks and multiple towel bars. Careful consideration of the available space created a light bulb moment!
The adjoining bedroom closet had plenty of space to recess a linen cabinet accessible from the Guest Bathroom. There is now plenty of storage space and no more over-the-door hanging racks needed. Robe hooks replace the bulky towel bars, a trend that has surfaced in many recent projects.
A quartz countertop with rectangular undermount sink and a modern matte black faucet are perfect with this bathroom update.
The shower and floor are kept original. Lighting is updated. Sometimes a partial update is all that is needed to solve bathroom storage issues and improve the look and functionality of a space. Guests will love the new space!
