The wall unit was very small, leaving an oven that wasn’t even large enough for a cooking sheet. The cooktop was too large and off center with a recirculating range hood that wasn’t up to the job.

By removing the built in and using a slide-in range with cooktop, we were able to open the space and add additional usable storage. The vented range hood looks beautiful while being functional.

Our next challenge in creating a better kitchen included creating more usable space on the left side of the kitchen. Blind corner cabinets and recessed cabinets above the refrigerator were unusable. The microwave was too large for the space. Proper corner and refrigerator cabinets with a smaller microwave, creates usable space for these homeowners!

Our final challenges included creating storage space by adding a pantry and providing some extra seating in the kitchen. The end result is stunning. This is definitely a better kitchen that will be fun to work in, with room for the family!
