These Raleigh, NC homeowners opted to eliminate the bathtub and create a walk-in doorless shower. The space where the tub once was now serves as the entry spot as well as a prep and dressing area. The doorless and zero entry to the shower is modern and practical. A chest height privacy wall is built which serves as the perfect spot for an additional recessed niche.
Tile is carried across the entire wall to ensure splashes are contained. Carrying the tile across the wall also gives a more luxurious and purposeful appearance.
The vanity had been painted by the prior homeowners. Making this space their own included replacing the vanity, replacing one mirror with two mirrors, and updating the light fixtures. We love how the gold fixtures work with warm wood tones.
