This large unfinished attic area was destined to be a versatile and spacious flex space!
The office space includes custom built-ins, a floor outlet, and very large closet for storage. We used wall mounted HVAC units, or ductless mini splits, for this project. Two units were used to cover both ends of the large space. Natural light is provided in this space above a bench that runs the length of the wall.
The full bathroom separates the two sections of attic space creating a private and cozy space for a wall mounted television and seating area. It is the perfect space for a pull-out sofa bed and table. When guests are not using the space, it can be a great private space for parents or kids to escape for some quiet time.
The shower has a unique shape thanks to the pitch of the ceiling but still provides ample space for this beautifully detailed shower. Accent tile becomes the focal point to give this room appeal.
Due to space constraints, a recessed niche is placed above the toilet using the same tile as the shower. This provides a resting spot for items while looking great! A pedestal sink is selected to keep the walkway open and the mirror provides great use of texture in this space..
The stairway lighting casts amazing texture to the walls. We love the result!
The barn door welcomes people into this amazing space at the top of the stairs. What a great space for this growing family and their guests!
